Sunday Lunch
Sunday lunch is Lelawatti's weekly gathering.
I belong to people who belonged to each other. No matter how busy the week got, no matter how little we saw each other Monday through Saturday, Sundays were for family. Everyone came home. The table got long, the pots got bigger, and whoever showed up, showed up hungry and stayed late.
Sunday Lunch carries that forward – a smaller, looser cousin to Lela's Table. Ten seats, one table, island-style plates meant to be passed and shared. No tasting menu, no formality. Just lunch, the way it's supposed to be eaten.
