The Table

Before there were restaurants, there were tables. hands passing bread.  Strangers made kin by salt and fire. a meal was never just a meal — it was a binding.

Lelawatti’s supper club is a return to that older way. an intimate gathering, seasonal and unhurried, where the act of eating together becomes the point.

Coming Spring 2026.

The Shape of It

The Supper Club is an intimate gathering — a long table, a shared meal, and the kind of evening that unfolds slowly. You'll arrive to a home kitchen already alive with preparation. There will be something to drink, something small to begin. Then we sit—together—and the meal moves through courses designed to be passed, portioned, and savoured in company. This is not a restaurant. There's no menu to choose from, no customization beyond what's necessary. The kitchen leads; you follow. What arrives at the table is shaped by the season, the market, and the story being told that evening. Expect conversation with strangers who won't stay strangers. Expect to leave full — in every sense.

these are not events.
these are invocations.
small by design, slow by intention.
a room where strangers arrive and community remains.

no courses to rush through. no performance. just the ancient ordinary — sitting down, breaking bread, and letting the meal hold us.

The Menu

The menu is revealed at the table.

What I can tell you: expect five to seven courses, rooted in the season — what's arriving at the market, what the moment calls for. The meal will move through vegetables, proteins, and something sweet. There will be bold flavors, considered textures, and dishes that carry memory.

This is a set experience. If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, you'll disclose them when you book — I'll do what I can within the scope of what's planned, but I don't rebuild the menu around individual preferences.

If you need to know exactly what you're eating before you commit, this may not be the right experience for you.

Before You Book

A few things to know:

  • This is a home kitchen–Lelawatti's operates out of a residential kitchen where common allergens — including nuts, gluten, dairy, shellfish, soy, and sesame — are regularly handled. Cross-contamination is possible even when specific allergens are excluded from your plate. If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy, please consider carefully whether this environment is appropriate for you.

  • Dietary needs must be disclosed at booking–I'll do my best to accommodate restrictions within the scope of the menu, but this is a set, multi-course meal — not a custom dining experience. The more notice you give, the better I can care for your needs.

  • Tickets are non-refundable–Due to the intimate nature of the event and the advance planning required, all ticket sales are final. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your seat to another guest with at least 72 hours' notice.

  • You're joining a table, not booking a private room–Supper Club is communal by design. You'll be seated alongside other guests, sharing food and conversation. Come open to connection.

Questions

Can I book for a group?
Yes — you'll be able to reserve up to 4 seats per booking. For larger groups, reach out directly at hello@lelawattis.com.

What if I have dietary restrictions?
You'll disclose them at checkout when tickets go live. I'll review all submissions and follow up if I have questions or concerns about what can be accommodated. Please note: this is a set menu, not a custom experience.

I have a severe allergy. Is this safe for me?
Lelawatti's operates in a home kitchen where allergens are present. Cross-contamination cannot be fully prevented. If you have a severe or life-threatening allergy (anaphylaxis risk), please assess your own comfort level before booking.

What's the refund policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. You may transfer your seat to another guest with at least 72 hours' notice.

What should I wear?
Dress in a way that honours the evening. This is a home, not a formal dining room — but it is a gathering, and gatherings deserve intention. Think: what you'd wear to a dinner party at a friend's beautiful apartment.

Is there parking?
Yes — street parking is available. Full details, including the address, will be sent to your email.

Can I bring wine or a gift?
You're welcome to, but not expected to. Everything you need for the evening is already here. If you do bring wine, know that it may not be served that night — I plan the pairings in advance — but it will absolutely be enjoyed later and thought of fondly.

What happens if I'm running late?
Please arrive on time. The meal is designed to flow in sequence, and late arrivals disrupt the rhythm of the table. If something comes up, text me — the number will be in your confirmation.

Will there be other events?
Supper Club runs monthly — with a pause between fall and winter, and whenever the kitchen or the chef needs rest. No newsletter; follow along on Instagram to catch the next one.
